Persuasive Letter: Leprechauns
Write a letter to the Leprechauns to persuade them to not mess up our classroom!
Make sure you address your audience and use the OREO method. (You may include details about what they did to the classroom)

ReplyDeleteI know you want to make our classroom messy. But have you thought how we feel. I love St. Patrick's day, but, it is a mess walk in. Like when you throw markers a around the room and we have to clean it up. How do think we feel. SAD! I really want you to stop it. I hope that's ok with you.

Hi! please don't mess up my class room! you shouldn't! I know you are thinking you wont get any fun! but I t is hard work! it is also very mean! Hi! I was writing to say that I don't want you guys to mess up room 305 next year. I know you might argue that its to fun and you will still do it. But I have ideas. Let me explain. My first idea is you could just mess up other classrooms, especially the 4th grade class room. I think its annoying to our teacher and to us. I really hope you can mess some one else's room and NOT room 305! Bye!!

Please Don't mess up your classroom! We really don't like It! All the kids are very frustrated! We all don't want to be cleaning up like in preschool and K/1!please don't be a meanie baby because we are kids not grown ups that are very big and can handle pretty much anything. We also had to clean up the class room. We cleaned up the bucket fillers. Third, We cleaned up the black shelf. We cleaned up the table caddies. We cleaned up the flore. Please don't mess up our classroom, our teacher gets so mad. She gets so mad because she thinks we did the mess so she takes out marbles. We try to be honest and say we didn't do it. She still thinks we did it. We try to persuade our parents to not take us to school. Our parents don't understand. I think you guys should have a break from being naughty. Please do not mess up our room. And this is me. I just want to ask you to not make our classroom a mess because we have to clean it up and we don't like cleaning it up. And don't do the glitter thing either. ( cause it's really hard to clean it up). I did like the cupcakes you made but I don't think you should do that anymore. I have a resson why.Ms. scroggins got relly made when she saw the messy room.I can also tell you that please dont put glitter on the carpit if you don,t pay a tenchin to the letter.I know you mite be thinking that you would not have a lot of fun but there are other classes.
I want you leprechauns to not mess up our classroom because then if we see something when we are working it distracts us because we have to pick it up. Also when we are cleaning up it takes to much time. If some of the chairs are flipped over then someone could get hurt. If all of our stuff is mixed up then we can't find our paper s then we have to do it all over again. Do you understand why you should not mess up our classroom? I hope you do.

The next reson is your being verey mean and don't leave us anything in return for messing it up, I think your mom is verey upset with yiu right now. If that hapens we will hide all green things. If that hapends you will not come to our class room, becuse you like green. this will make pepole mad, so traps will be harder. if that hapens you can't get out! this is why you shold'nt mess up our room!

It made me feel bad because its not fair when you make a mess and leave it behind for us to clean . ReplyDeleteIt isn't a good idea to have a messy room for a few good reasons. It isn't good because it wasts our learning time. We have to spend all our time cleaning up our room instead of learning good stuff to prepare for life. Did you know how long it takes to clean up all that stuff? It takes like 1/2 hour. We should've been learning and playing and doing exercise to grow strong mussels. And all that time was wasted. Now do you know that its a bad idea to mess up people's rooms?
Lads, please don't mess up our room! It takes away our learning time when we are cleaning it up. Also, we don't want everybody cleaning up our table because our table is the one that gets the most messed up! don't mess up our class!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteIs it fun messing up our room? I think you shouldn't mess up our room. Reason 1. sometimes people trip over chairs and things and get hurt. Reason 2. when you mess things up we have to clean up and we miss out on some learning. Reason 3. if you are still in the classroom when we get inside we will find you. This is why I think you shouldn't ruin our classroom.
